question of astrophotography?
My brother has a Bushnell Voyager Sky Tour Telescope, and I want to take pictures of the sky using my camera Photo and Telescope, (at the time is right around collecting dust). But I can not find an adapter to keep the body the camera so that the telescope is the objective. My camera is a Canon XT DSLR. If you know where to find one or what one might call Please let me know, thank you!
Orion can sell you the adapter you need: Note you will also need a Canon EOS T-adapter. Once you understand how to set up and focus, you should be able to get pictures of the moon. For star clusters, galaxies, etc., will require little more work, if possible at all with your telescope. You need an equatorial mount with a strong drive motor. With a weaker equatorial mount, you will be very short exposures and stacking. Without an equatorial mount leads, you will be limited to the moon. You do not say that Sky Tower model of your brother, but they range from low-end Bushnell totally unsuitable to (at best) inappropriate for astrophotography. Astrophotography is a difficult quest, even with a better telescope. I suggest you get a good book about DSLR astrophotography (see links below).
